I don’t think you can change Warlock pet names. You can completely ignore PvP if it’s not something you enjoy, or try it out later. Class balance can also be pretty weird at low levels and you’ll be up against players with better gear due to having mains that can supply things like heirlooms. ![]() Is there some where I can look for my questions instead of bugging people here? Like I said, these forums are a little confusing to me and a lot of replies I’ve seen have seemed not too friendly, at least in the general one.įor PvP, dying a lot is perfectly normal. Also, how does one go about finding people to talk to in this game? Is everyone so far ahead that no one is doing anything low? I have to do something called Shadowfang keep but I’ve no idea where that is. Sorry for the questions, I tried to browse the forums but there is information everywhere and it is a bit confusing. What is that? And how do I click the envelope to open it? It won’t open. There is a white envelope above my mini map, when I hover over it, it says something about a postmaster. Is there an option to show nameplates all the time? I can’t see health bars above enemies until I am in combat with them, so it is difficult for me to see what things are bad or not. ![]() What is this? I found a merchant with two owls and bought them. I put an authenticator on my account and it says I got a Core Hound Pup. I have audio options like dialog turned way down, but as I said… there are some extremely loud exchanges. Some Dialog in the game is really loud and some is really soft. In the game menu there is an ‘edit mode’, but it is greyed out. I was a little scared I’d have to heal, but I am glad I am do damage with it. I didn’t like the pet names and couldn’t figure out how to change them. I leveled it a little to 20 and decided to try something else. I made a Warlock, the game said it was a pet class. I even tried the pvp thing, but didn’t enjoy that much. That's not to say for any other class it would not be worthwhile, but I think the SF is slightly overrated compared to the alternative. So far I am enjoying the game, I figured out some of the basics but there is a lot. In my personal opinion, it would be a total waste for any rogue to purchase SF. Lastly, the drop rate on CB is about 10% compared with the 0.01 for the SF. The bonus for the SF (+ 4-8 Shadow damage) gives no use to a rogue whatsoever. Thirdly, CB gives you +12 attack power which increases your DPS by 1.9, giving a total of 17.4. the DPS difference may look huge, but actually SF is only 0.1 seconds faster and has a dmg range of (29-55) so all in all I think the difference is deceptive. Secondly, CB has a higher damage range (30-57) so that means your sinister strike does more damage anyway. ![]() I have a lvl 19 Rogue twink for WSG, and I decided that Cruel barb was actually better despite the lower DPS.įirstly, you can only have SF in main hand (bummer if you want to use a dagger in main such as assassin's blade from SFK) which also means you can duel wield CB. 15.5) and have been wondering if I should replace the Cruel barb in the unlikely event I should actually get the Shadowfang. I already have Cruel Barb in main, but the Shadowfang has a much higher DPS (17.8 vs. If you want to be efficient with your time, don't.Ĭomment by AllakhazamI've been deliberating this for a while. If you like farming lowbie instances (I do sometimes), that's cool, go for it. You may turn your nose up at paying 100g but if you were an herbalist, think how many high level herbs you could pick in the same time it takes to farm one of these. So the guy who posted a 1.15% was pretty close. I did not include chests in the calculations since some are locked and not everyone is able to open them (Rogues or blacksmiths ftw). I then multiplied each mob's drop rate by the average number of that type of mob in each instance (based on an average of several runs) to get the number of runs it would take to get each item on average.Įither Assassin's Blade or Shadowfang: 1 in 45 runs Comment by AllakhazamI made an Excel spreadsheet and inputted all the mobs in Shadowfang Keep along with the drop rates for each of the bind on equip blue items that drop there.
