Planets will flip ownership based on the various wars day by day so you are actually inhabiting the most accurate representation of the Inner Sphere so far. How much this effects your game depends on what year you start in. This includes of course the clan invasion of the inner sphere. Now not only is 'Mech rarity lore accurate over the timeline, so is the Inner Sphere map and the factions that inhabit it.
